Skin is the largest organ of the body it is that part of the body which is often used for the internal systems as a manifestation for example if you have jaundice the skin becomes yellow and if somebody says you are looking very pale, then possibly you will go check your haemoglobin and what are the levels of your blood or if you have pimples or pigmentation, then people will ask there is an internal cause. So itching over the skin can have lots of reasons. It does not necessarily mean one reason. If you have jaundice, receding jaundice can give you itching. Food allergy gives you very bad itching, one of the mundane reasons for itching is a very hot water bath. People think or various reasons that they should have a hot water bat and the muscle s are stimulated, but that is at the cost of a very dry and a very itchy skin which will go away with the forts cold water bath. In my practise I have been telling all my patients, first find out the reason for the itching. In homeopathy there are medicines like sulphur. Sulphur is supposed to be a very chronic itch medicine, but please don’t do this because sulphur is a very deep acting remedy. Until and unless there is a deep background to the itching, it will not work. It may actually come to a point where you need help further. So things like calcarea sulph 6x which is a biochemic medicine, till the time you go to a doctor, you can use that 3 times a day , but do get it diagnosed and get it treated. All these conditions are treated beautifully by homeopathy.

Chronic inflammation is at the root of most chronic diseases — including heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s and cancer. While diet can help reduce inflammation, it can also contribute to it.
Erin Peisach, a wellness education specialist with Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group in San Diego, explains how to keep inflammation at bay. Avoid or limit refined carbohydrates, fried foods, sugar-sweetened beverages, red meat and saturated fat.
